Unpublished and original research papers on cinema and audiovisual arts are published, which have been approved through the peer review process.
The journal publishes translations of texts of interest to researchers, teachers, filmmakers, students, critics, etc., that have not been previously published in Spanish.
Unpublished reviews of current publications are published, in Spanish, Portuguese, French or English. They do not undergo the peer review process, but are reviewed by the Editorial Committee.
The journal's Dossiers may be directed by members of the Editorial Committee, or by invited editors. They gather unpublished and original research articles on cinema and audiovisual arts referring to a specific topic, and must have been approved through the peer review process. The same peer review system applies as for the open call articles.
Unpublished interviews of interest to both the subjects involved and the topics they discuss are published in Spanish, Portuguese, French or English. They do not undergo the peer review process, but are reviewed by the Editorial Committee.
The publication of texts is carried out under a Creative Commons License, whose rules can be consulted at http://www.creativecommons.org.ar/
The authors retain the intellectual property of their work, but the right to the first publication goes to the magazine La cifra impar.
