Peer Review

Articles sent to the journal are submitted to peer review with a double-blind modality, which establishes double anonymity between authors and evaluators.

Once the contribution is received, the Editorial Committee carries out a first evaluation, in order to establish the relevance and interest of the article for the journal, and compliance with the established guidelines for authors is verified. It is also verified that it is unpublished and that it does not contain any form of plagiarism or self-plagiarism. In the event that any of these standards are not met, the Editorial Committee has the power to reject the article.

For those articles that pass the first stage of evaluation, two peers of the same or higher academic level than that of their author, who are suitable for the evaluation of said articles, are selected.

Peer review is carried out through an evaluation form, from which an opinion is concluded, which can be: publishable, publishable with modifications and non-publishable. Based on this opinion, the Editorial Committee will decide the course of evaluation of the articles; if necessary, a third evaluation may be required.

If it is decided to publish with modifications, the authors will be informed, and they will be given a deadline to deliver the corrected version. This version will be sent again to the evaluators, or will be reviewed by the Editorial Committee. If it is accepted, it will be layout for publication.

The magazine issues evaluation certificates for the reviews made.
